The 6 Gifts Of Chapel 2015

It's that time of the month....and no, not our period!
It's the ??? Gifts of Chapel!
An annual thing wherein I (Dark Chapel) will give random SSM! friends and supporters
a MS Paint artwork (that is bound to be worth a bazillion bucks in year 2025,maybe,I dunno?).
And why do I do this you ask, oh so nonchalantly?

It's the season to be jolly, gift giving and all that Hallmark-ey cliches.

So without further ado, here's this year's Nice list:

1. Twin Tail for Patrick "Rawwrr" Enrique.
2. The Leader for Jim Faustino.
3. Segata Sanshiro for Nikko Valenzuela.
4. Lolbot and Beer/Deer for Apol Sta. Maria.
5. MacGuyver for both Karize and Josel Nicolas.
and last but not the least,
6. Conan The Barbarian for Emiliana Kampilan.

And now for some bonus content, which are basically gifts to myself.
Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.
Dorothy from Akazukin Chacha.
Takeshi "Beat" Kitano.
Bull Nakano.
a rockabillyfied Mona.
That's all of 'em. See you again next year and hopefully
you do get on my good side and be handsomely rewarded with wonderful
artwork courtesy of yours truly. If not, then...
here's the world's smallest violin.

Super Mice And The Roborats

As we've mentioned earlier, due to some really wise investment choices.
We are now in the possession of box after boxes of bootleg toys.
Namely of the Biker Mice From Mars kind.
Ranging from the 10" kind:
P200.00 each.
Only Throttle and Vinnie figures are available as of the moment.
to the standard sized action figures:
P100.00 each. Three mices available.
and some Kitt-O Construction Kits of both Doctor Who and Star Wars:
P50.00 each
And now for the fun part: the unboxing / assembly!
For the 10" figure, the tail is normally detached for handling purposes.
It's made out of (surprisingly enough) durable plastic and the paint job is decent enough with some mispaints here and there but nothing too noticeable as some other bootleg toys would normally be.
The figure doesn't boast any points of articulation but the head, wrist, arms, waist and boots are twistable.
Giving you the liberty of recreating your favorite Ben Tisoy moments
or letting your Biker mice channel his inner Shakespeare by reciting passages from Hamlet.
Alas, poor Yorick!
For the construction kits, let's look at the Star Wars ones first.
With 6 designs to collect. But we are merely assembling the ones we liked the most.
First up is Admiral Ackbar.
Yes, It's Mr. It's A Trap!

The assembly for these paper sculptures seems easy enough. No cutting and no gluing required.
There is the Admiral, live and in living colors!

And now let's take the good Doctor for a little spin?
Get it?
Ah well....

For this particular franchise, we're going with the Weeping Angel design because she has that nice looking skirt thingie.
Again, there are 6 designs to choose and collect.
and there you have it folks!
Obviously the Doctor Who one looks classier with it's podium thingie.
Here are the two figures standing side by side for comparative purposes.
Now, we are not merely sharing these kits and figures for they are in fact FOR SALE.
So buy some, maybe????
Reply down below or email us @ silent_sanctum@yahoo.com for your orders.
A paypal account is being set-up as of the moment but at the meantime, Metro Manila meet-ups only.
Available for BLTX 6 pick-ups or some other conventions of your choosing, provided we are also attending the said gathering.

Disclaimer: These are obviously fake toys. Some figures might have loose/broken joints due to mishandling during shipping. We would choose to sell the best ones based on appearance alone. No refunds would be provided for figures that are beyond repair.

There you go!

So We've Heard You Don't Know How To Save Pictures From Instagram!

This is yet another helpful tutorials for all you non-tech savy folks of the interweb.

Our previous tutorial on How To Print Screen With Your Laptop:

Instagram : there are a literally GRAMS and GRAMS of interesting photos on the said site. Mostly good and a handful of bad ones and amongst the 30 something bad ones, chances are you'd want to save a particular image. But what to do? Screenshots /Screen grabbing is such a drag and you don't even have the patience to crop most of them. Leaving you with crappy looking photos announcing to everyone as to how much battery you have left and how much of an insomniac you really are. How pathetic! Let's change all that and do things the right way, the SSM! way!

First things first, if you DO have an Instagram account, follow our account over @
And let's be INSTA-BUDDIES

Alrighty then, down to the order of business aaaaand for the sake of clarity: step by step screencaps would be provided as opposed to what we did in the previous tutorial.

1. Stalking/Visiting the page of your favorite IG-er. For this particular tutorial we chose to follow
Ms. Anri Okita's acccount.
She has plenty of really REALLY nice.....pictures and that's very important in a site such as Instagram.
Plus she's an excellent artist,
and that's always a good thing!
And if you're smart, you should probably follow her as well! It's for your own good!

2. Selecting your desired photo.
Let's keep this tutorial classy by choosing the photo that best represents her page:
There it is!
3. Right click then select " View Page Source".
You'd then be directed to a page looking like THIS:
Don't worry, Ric Flair!
We'd help you out. This is a SSM! tutorial after all!
Now that Ric Flair had calmed the fuck down. On to step #
4. Click Edit then Find.

The Find action then prompts a Status Bar at the bottom of the page.
Key in "jpg" then press ENTER.
Scroll up/down to find the first match with the said keyword.
5. Copy the link of the said first match.
6. Paste it on a separate tab. Then PRESTO!
A savable image!
Plenty other photos were saved using this method. The entire process is a bit tedious at first but rest assured that it is all well worth it!
Now a simpler way to bypass all this mess is to check if the said photo had been uploaded elsewhere. Like let's say ....on her Twitter account:
But then again, some photos are an Instagram exclusive so there's always that dilemma.
That's that and you're welcome!
Now, on to the fapcave!
