Brief Encounters

Inspired by Milo Manara's
not so recent contribution to Star Comics' Dragon Ball X.
As originally drawn by Toriyama.
As shown on both the anime
and on the DBZ movies
As drawn by yours truly.
And again, thanks for the inspiration, Sir Manara & Toriyama-Sensei!

Codex Gigas

KENNY
EFF'N
POWERS!
Well, what can I say, that's one helluva reveal trailer!

The opening was also a nice call back / throwback to the original Final Fight opening featuring Mayor Haggar.
Complete with generic office telephone and American flag.
We definitely loved the 'Battle Costume" which was obviously very much James Bond inspired.
The Haggar pants are alright, definitely not for us but clearly something for the ladies, I guess?
G's reveal trailer is probably right up next the SFV:Arcade Edition's hype train.
And hopefully he is who we think he is.

In line with the celebration of Weekly Shonen Jump's 50th Anniversary, they've partnered themselves with Nintendo to give us THIS wonderful piece of (most probably/would be )collector's item console:

Well, it really isn't all that "Golden" but whatever....
Titles included within the said Japan exclusive console were:

Tag Team Match: MUSCLE
Dragon Quest
Fist of the North Star
Dragon Ball: Shenron no Nazo

Plenty of which we probably haven't seen or heard of yet since most of
the titles listed were probably left untranslated or were never released outside of Japan.
