Major Major Overhaul

The rest of our sundays were spent reading(and rereading)/enjoying
a couple of the free stuff we got from FCBD.

The package came in a lovely white sando bag.
With our name on it.

Yeah,say my name,say my name, WEAR IT OUT!

And with it came a world of mystic wonders which included

MOUSE GUARD

which is apparently a big deal amongst the professional comic book collectors and local forum nerds.
We won't blame them. It is a good book nonetheless...

And you got your AVENGERS.

So apparently SPIDER-MAN and WOLVERINE are now part of THE AVENGERS...
When did that started to happen...Ah well, guess SCHISM really did changed a lot of things in the MARVEL UNIVERSE.

Speaking of SPIDER-MAN,THIS book is a retelling of ol' webheads origins.

So apparently IMAGE COMICS still exist.We're still under the impression that
JIM LEE sold it all and it no longer exist but apparently it still does
evidently with THIS book right here.

THE ATOMICS story was not drawn by ALLRED.Oh fooey!

G-MAN was pretty good and so is GUARDING THE GLOBE.

Honestly speaking we haven't been following the series religously.
But the countdowns TO new 52 were pretty cool.
Black Adam was murdering a whole bunch of people, martian Manhunter acting weirder
than the usual,etc...

And why is FAIRCHILD (of GEN 13 fame) now part of the DC Universe or
is it another FAIRCHILD altogether...well it surely does look like
her sans the green suit we all knew and loved.

The best part of the deal was....THE SUCKERS!

We kid, but the sticker and tattoo were really cool.
And chances are we won't be eating nor using any of those freebies because we're
keeping it for the sentimental value of it all..We're all sentiMENTAL folks
here @ SSM!. Much emphasis on the MENTAL part...

But honestly, the best part was the SHIRTS.

For shirt guys like us, this was the best gift in the entire package.
And we did consider buying this shirt right here.

Because the design was all PROPAGANDA-ey and stuff.
And we basically fell in love with it.

So thank you FCBD for the awesome swag.
And O yeah, this book right here was NOT included in the package.

But we did receive our own copy courtesy of ATE SYERI maBAET!

Sa uulitin, but honestly. A beautiful thing like this is meant to be shared.
We'd be more than happy to let ANOTHER artist enjoy this wonderful moment
on our behalf. If there is one thing we've learned from the entire event is is not to be
greedy or "SWAPANG".We'd wanna let someone else join in on the fun.And let them
experience all the free fun for themselves.

It was indeed a day where we felt appreciated. And the rewards definitely came in small
but meaningful packages.It was an experience unlike any other.And we are indeed
grateful to have been a part of this year's festivity.At the end of the day,
I'm a whole lot richer, in comics, in artistic drive, in determination...and in the
monetary sense too, of course!

So with that being said.
We would like to conclude this entry by saying , and from the deepest recesses of our hearts
FCBD, we love ya!
