Peak At Chu Then Chika Chu
He actually talks in this game....
a whole lot even....
He might sounds manly and all but still not at a Danny DeVito level!
Not even close!!!!

Security Blanka
Both the Nostalgia Costume and Battle Costume (albeit a little Aztec-ish) looks excellent and all but what is up with that STORY MODE costume????

Piso Fare
So, here are the newly issued P5.00 - P10.00 coins and the various other commemorative coins in between them.
I don't think this Antonio Luna sculpt was best suited for coins with two colors.
The layout at the back makes even lesser sense when you notice that the designs are bleeding into one another. It is in our best assumptions that this Antonio Luna sculpt was meant to be used on some other value. Some other value that is probably not two-toned.
But then again, this could also be a "Special Preventive Measure" against coin forgeries so we couldn't be too sure about it either.
Side by side with the Old version:
Special Commemorative P5.00 - P1.00 coins:
Bagong Bayani (New Heroes) + Douglas MacArthur Leyte Gulf Landing coins.
150 years of Rizal Day (I guess?)
Most of which were obtained via fast food tellers and oddly enough Jeepney drivers.
I guess money is just money then. Commemorative or not, it just didn't matter that much to them.
Tis a good sign that our coins are evolving for the better.
Although there were a few size and thickness discrepancies
but hopefully we'd get used to it in the near future. Most especially if this TRAIN (Tax Reform for Acceleration and INclusion)
law continues to rear its ugly head then a domino effect of price hikes is surely inevitable.
But amidst all that, Andres Bonifacio and Antonio Luna were indeed good choices
for our P5-P10, respectively. For these are the coins we use/see everyday and these heroes
are better representations of our country. Tis better to honor strong, occult believing,
natural born leaders as opposed to yellow-bellied, paper tiger, traitor types .
And with that said, why aren't we phasing out or simply demonetizing these old Aguinaldo coins?
It's not like anyone wants him around. It's not like he's a revered hero or something. He should be demoted to 5,10 or 25 cents. For these are these are the coins even BEGGARS wouldn't want to receive.
I like how they went back to feature something of national significance as opposed to yet another
huge ass BSP logo. We seriously don't need to be reminded as to who prints these money but instead, we wanted more of these random objects representing our country. But to be honest, we seriously don't know the relevance of this Tayabak plant to our beloved Supremo but whatever...It's a good start, I guess?

The Jervs Store
One of the many great things about our current work is that we get to travel a lot.
Not out of luxury but more or less, out of necessity.
Kinda like how Kid Goku was doing back in the days.
And we all know that Kid Goku was the bestest kind of Goku there is.
So there, I'm terribly sorry about that, the OTHER Kid Goku from GT!
But it is what it is!
Given that we're not confined to a single office space. We were given the opportunity to explore our surroundings. Survey the area, finding new ways to make our commute a little less dreadful.
And with that said....
Most of our adventures were STILL within the metro but definitely not within our normal route since this is at the exact opposite as to where we reside.
Enter, Guadalupe Station.
The 9th station in our very problematic and accident and malfunctioning prone Metro Rail Transit System -3 or MRT-3. Naku, aberya na naman, late na ko!
Or as barkers within the said had affectionately named her as "GUADA" or "TULAY"(Bridge).
An area that houses a weird assortment of marketplace and jeepney stops.
Filled with bars, small restos and specialty kiosks.
(Kainan Na!)
This is where we buy our chicken skins. Not only were the portions a lot bigger and better tasting.
They were indeed using Magnolia chicken's, well.....SKIN.
In effect, making what they're selling a lot better than what you'd normally find elsewhere.
GRAVY siya! For the "Gravy" portion of this condiment box is always empty!
They currently don't have a store name upon the documentation of this blog entry. Hopefully that changes soon. Will edit this again in the near future.
Guadalupe is a portal if you will, if you wishes to visit places like BGC, Market Market!, McKinley (pronounced as MAH-keen-lee, hence don't be a dumb fuck. Pronounce it like a local!) and of course, AFP/Housing. O ayan, hindi niyo na kailangang mag-Taxi a!
Going to Market Market! should only cost you around P8.00 (Minimum Fare).
While somewhere as far as AFP/Housing would only cost you around P13.00.
But that's not why we're here!
We're here to discuss this hidden bookstore that the said place had to offer.
Which was Jervs/Mabel Pocketbooks Store.
Located within Basement, Guadalupe Commercial Complex (right beside McDonalds)
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jervs.pocketbooks/
The place offers a wide variety of both used pocketbooks and various other reading
materials such as back issues of Men's magazine, Academic books, books dealing with
Religion, DVDs and even a few comic books.
All of which were somewhat priced around P10-P20.
An absolute steal, mas mura pa kesa sa Booksale.
Hindi ka pa tinitignan ng masama nung saleslady.
And because there are no saleslady within the said store. The entire place was managed and maintained by "Kuya Ed". Which would strike charming and engaging small talks/conversations with you right before you leave. Ensuring that visitors to his amazing bookstore leaves happy and well-informed. An absolutely delightful place to score some really affordable pre-loved books.
And that's about it. Here was what I got from the store.
A more detailed summary of each of the books on a latter blog entry.
But for now, this would have to be our assessment/recommendation of the place.
It's definitely worth your time and visit so simply just give a go then.
You won't regret it!

Extra Rise
The long wait is over.
So here are the official character art for the upcoming TMNT cartoon series entitled:
Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
and last but not the least,
all images courtesy of:

I dunno about you guys but I kinda liked it!
Dem turtle teens with them thick lines and sharp edges...it's all very RADICAL, dudes!
And also, Fat Master Splinter looks incredible!
I mean let's face it, the 80's cartoon look was definitely iconic as fuck.
And no other animation studio might be able to replicate that.
And even if they could, why should they?
No one should play second banana to anyone just because the first banana was deemed successful.
Those designs were probably copyrighted anyways and might even cost a whole lot of money.
And at this point in time, shouldn't we all just be happy that the heroes in a half shell are getting a cartoon adaptation as opposed to yet another 3D series. Not that there's anything wrong with 3D Turtles but Cartoon turtles just looks a bit more closer to the source material.

Hot And Sticky
Wasting food in exchange for comedy....
We say 'YES', it was all worth it!
Most especially when huge melons are included within that said equation.
