The "PROF" strip could be viewed as both a Pinocchio reference and a Glory Hole reference.

Useless Trivia : We were once under the tutelage of Sir Rene Aranda's joint Cartoon Workshop (with Sir Tonton Young). Where in knowledge about proper body language and appropriate facial expressions were then discussed. All of which seems pretty surreal(and actually quite useful), now that we're (sort of) doing komik strips as well.

But my personal favorites were the strips from Sir Jess Abrera, Jesie Castro and Patrick Mcdonnel.
