SSM! Sinematiks #1: Bohemian Rhapsody
SSM! Sinematiks #2: Alita: Battle AngelIn honor of the late Bob Saget,
let's review one of the few films he personally directed, Dirty Work (1998).
A movie that had been brought to our attention courtesy of this particular CONAN interview.
In it, Mitch Weaver (Norm Macdonald) and Sam McKenna (Artie Lange) are two buddies specializing in revenge for hire type of work.
Hence if there's a bully, colleague or boss you want to get even with, they're the men for the job.
The movie's really funny and too bad it isn't as popular or in anyone's must-see list of comedy films from the 90's.
I mean, it featured cameos from numerous SNL alumni,
(like Chevy Chase and David Koechner)
Mystique,
and a whole lot of GHOSTS in-between.
Like a crazy amount of them!
And by ghosts, we aren't referring to Patrick Swayze.
But rather actors and comedians we've lost in the last year/month or so.
Namely:
Norm Macdonald
Don Rickles
Jack "Not Gene Hackman" Warden
Chris Farley
This was also Chris Farley's last movie.
Uncredited Cameos:
Pre-Little Nicky Adam Sandler as Satan.
John Goodman as Mayor.
Might-be Anna Farris as Babysitter. So there you go!
Go watch it yourselves and enjoy!
